I forgot to post this monday...

Have not felt like a blog in a while so I guess Ill share my recent news now. I had fun in Ohio didn't get to see any friends but I did get to go to the museum and the aquarium.

Reed got a new job a couple of weeks ago with full benefits working at the high school. He has also been doing some part time jobs to bring in extra cash. Last Wednesday he was a garbage man for a day and Friday and Saturday he held a sign for five hours. Some girl flashed him Friday and the car show was Saturday so he had a nice view both days lol. I wish some one would pay me 8 dollars an hour to hold a damn sign. Id even dance and wear a tutu but juggling would cost extra (:

Saturday night we went to his cousins wedding and I ate lots of yummy foods. It was the first time Id been to a big wedding with no alcohol being served. Then we went to white castle and when we got back to somerset we walked to the fireworks.

Ive been sick for a few days and it doesn't seem to be letting up. I went to the doctor today and they told me I failed my glucose test so I have to take the 3 hour test Wednesday. Still no ultrasound but the doctor said I will be getting one next month, the visit after the next on the 15th.

The awesome doctor

Yesterday was my first visit to the chiropractor and I was very nervous about the visit but I had to go. I got to the office a little early and was greeted by a smiling nurse. They acted like I was completely welcome which made me relaxed. It wasn't even 2 minutes after my appointment time I was called back and got to see the doctor. The doctor I get to see is Dr. Henderson and he is fricken awesome. He explained all the benefits of going to the chiropractor while pregnant like reducing the odds of miscarriage and preterm labor and shortly after that it was time to be readjusted. He cracked, popped and bent me in all sorts of odd ways leaving me feeling a little odd. I left feeling real sore and walking seemed like a whole new experience but I hear that how most people feel the first couple times.

I had another appointment this morning and I'm starting to feel awesome. It only took 1 minute before they called me back today. I felt great after I left and I even went for a little walk after I got home. I still feel great after the walk when normally I feel like crap and ache in my back. I have another appointment tomorrow and then its off to Ohio. I just love those 3 hour car rides.... Bleh!

Ive been super busy lately. Ive been planning my trip to Ohio and I'm super excited about it. I'm not sure what I will be doing on Thursday and Friday but no need to have a plan for everyday. Saturday I'm going to the Newport aquarium at about nine in the so my siblings can see the penguin parade. After the aquarium my mom's side of the family is having a get together so I'll finally get to see my grandma after a year and a half. Saturday is fathers day so I'm not sure what my family has planned for that evening but Reed and I are taking my sisters and brother to the museum. The Cincinnati museum is having a exhibit called Bodies they are begging me to see it. The exhibit is kinda morbid since it is 15 real bodies on display with 250 different other body parts also on display but thats what they all want to see. I wanted to see the butterfly show at the conservatory but it seems I was the only one that wanted to see it making my family more morbid than me.

Just a little break

I didn't do much this weekend but I did mange to stay clear of the internet for most of the weekend. Its hard because I think I'm addicted to surfing and blogging. I took a break from searching baby stuff but it could only last so long. Now I back planning for the nursery once again hoping to find something great for Xavior.

Xavior is still kicking away in my tummy and I pretty sure hes happy and healthy in there even though heartburn is killing me. My medicine does not seem to be working as it should bleh!

Doctors and the blahdy blah

Today I had yet another appointment with my doctor and I was put off work till the baby's born. This means I will not be able to return till November 3rd because I get 6 weeks of maternity leave on top of my medical leave. I'm hoping and praying my disability insurance will cover the medical leave because I cant afford to be off this long with no money coming in.

I get to take the glucose test in two weeks. I'm not thrilled because Ive already been warned the juice it nasty but as long as everything turns out ok its cool. Also the same day or if not the day before I have my first appointment to see a chiropractor. I had hoped they would eventually do something about the pain because it seemed like no one wanted to help for the longest time.

The first doctor named Crosslin barely listened to me for 20 seconds before he said I was fine. The second doctor named Priddle acknowledged the pain and told me it was my sciatic nerve. Priddle also recommended a brace but its hard to wear it all the time and the pain dose not completely go away when I do. The third doctor Is saw was Dr. Horn, she was awesome and very understanding. She is the one that made me the appointment with the chiropractor and told me all the women that see him for sciatic pain feel so much better after he helped them.

In other news...

On the 14 next month I will be visiting my lovely hometown in Ohio for a few days. I'm not sure if Reed will be up with me because of his work schedule but I know Ill defiantly be there. I hope to bring my siblings Tabitha and Jeff back with me that week as well. Unfortunately with the way its looking they will have to stay the whole week or not at all because the ride back will be a little harder for me to get. Id like to bring Kim too but she has to work. *Sigh* My plans are jumbled at the moment but hopefully it all works out.

Ohio

Today was just another day of lounging around for mommy. Its the least I can do considering all thats been on my mind. Ive been frantic thinking about all the stuff I need to get for Xavior but its the move back to Ohio that has me a little stressed.

I plan on the move being about 2 or 3 months after my 6 week maternity leave but my maternity leave may not give me enough money for the move. I may have to get a part time job or a first shift job around that time. It sucks that in order to get threw the last few months one of us has to get a new job but it will be worth it. I miss my family and friends to much to stay in Kentucky.

And in todays search for more baby gear I came across a lovely site for baby carriers. Ive been searching for a carrier for Xavior but I have had a little bit of a hard time with finding a good one. My never ending search for baby gear

Ive been shopping around for the best toys and baby gear lately so Ive decided to start making mention of the things I find and love.

So lets start with one of the cutest things Ive seen. Its called a Zoobie pet its a stuffed animal that can turn into a pillow and blanky. They are currently having a giveaway to win one and I really think its worth the try.

I also have fallen in love with the bugaboo cameleon stroller. Its one of the most beautiful and handy strollers Ive seen and really hope to own one soon. Bugaboo strollers

And last but not least because I plan on owning the whole collection the fisher price Rainforest collection. Ive decided to theme the whole nursery in a jungle like them and this collection will be the center of it.
